The caller was Atal Behari Vajpayee, the Prime Minister of India. Vajpayee asked Modi what he was doing and where he was at the moment. Modi told the PM that he was at a funeral.
The PM gasped. Vajpayee quickly told Modi to see him in the evening and ended the conversation.
